Fees and Charges
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
If you have extras or ancillary health insurance cover for psychology services you may get a rebate from your health insurance. Tim's fees are lower than the APS scheduled fee.
MEDICARE REBATES AVAILABLE UNDER THE MEDICARE MENTAL HEALTH CARE PLAN UPON REFERRAL FROM A GP, PSYCHIATRIST OR A PEDIATRICIAN.
Under this scheme, you will need to obtain a referral from a GP who will assess you and write a Mental Health Care Plan.
Psychology Medicare services are limited to 10 sessions per calendar year, with a review by the referring doctor after the first 6 sessions.
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD or cash. You need to pay on the day then we can process your claim from Medicare or your private health insurance on the spot.
Please note that cancelled appointments or missed appointments 'on the day' incur a default fee of $50 to cover our costs. Please give 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or change an appointment.
CONCESSION FEES or BULK BILLING
There is a lower fee ($110) for those people who hold a current Health Care Card, Pensioner Card or Full-time Student Card. As a general rule Bulk Billing is no longer offered due to the large number of clients who have made appointments and then failed to attend.
